Accompanied by a photographer and the museum’s mediator, participants will embark on a pointu (a traditional fishing boat in Provence) to follow in Berthe Morisot’s footsteps and find the viewpoints chosen for her views of the port. The workshop will draw parallels between Berthe Morisot’s paintings and the practice of photography.
It will provide an opportunity to discuss and put into practice the notions of framing, adjusting the light, sharpness and angle of the shot.
A selection of the photographs taken may be presented at the Musée des Beaux-Arts or at the Port of Nice during the European Heritage Days on 21 and 22 September 2024.

Please note that photographic equipment is not provided and you will need a digital camera or smartphone to take part.
